Junior Import Merchandiser

The Role:

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Import Merchandiser / Production Administrator to join their team based in Farringdon. This is a busy role and would suit someone looking to develop within a dynamic and growing wholesale clothing company. They are very looking for a candidate who will develop and grow within an existing experienced team.

Main Duties:

  • Maintenance of seasonal production critical paths and development critical paths
  • Chasing production, development and fit samples
  • Assisting the wholesale team with uploading style details onto our internal systems
  • Approving bulk fabrics and lab dips
  • Filing systems for bulk fabrics and lab dips
  • Responsible for the general tidiness and organisation of the department
  • Receive and tag all samples into the business
  • Organise garments for photo shoots and keep a tracker of garments’ whereabouts in between the showrooms
  • Liaising with the Team in Manchester on a regular basis.
  • Liaising with the Showroom Co-Ordinator to ensure all showroom samples are up to date and correct
  • Liaising with the Garment Tech team to do critical path updates
  • Take ownership of the Sample Archive for the business
  • General admin support to the London team

This is a fully office-based role, although there is some flexibility surrounding actual working hours.

The ideal candidate will have excellent Microsoft skills and general admin experience. In addition, you will have some experience in a similar role. Candidates with Womenswear Woven and Jersey areas with good fabric knowledge will be of particular interest.
