We are hiring a Property Administrator to join our client's friendly and professional team in Islington, London on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

About the Company:

Our client is a leading London-based property investment firm managing a substantial portfolio of over 800 commercial and residential properties across England, Scotland, and Wales.

Your Role:

As a Property Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the Commercial Property Management team. Your ability to efficiently handle Purchase Orders (POs) and manage tenant and contractor interactions will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs) for commercial property repairs, ensuring accurate processing.
  • Act as the first point of contact for tenants and contractors, handling queries professionally.
  • Oversee repairs and maintenance, raising job orders and tracking their completion.
  • Work closely with the commercial property team, liaising with lettings, residential, and legal departments.
  • Manage invoices and liaise with the accounts team to ensure timely payments to contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, coordinating audits and site visits.
  • Maintain key records and organise team schedules for inspections and meetings.

What We're Looking For:

  • Commercial property experience is essential.
  • Proven experience in raising and managing Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to liaise professionally with tenants and contractors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ability to learn internal systems quickly.
  • A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
