Our client, a leading brand in the property management industry, has contracted Cobalt to help with the hire of a Client Director for their team.

This position will require a distinct background working at a management level within the residential block management space.

The core responsibility will be to manage a sole client that owns a selection of mixed use, large scale developments, whilst also managing a team of Estate Managers who are based at each site.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with key stakeholders within the account, including property owners, leaseholders, and resident associations.
  • Oversee all aspects of service delivery to ensure the account meets contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with property managers and operational teams to address service charges, maintenance, and compliance issues specific to the account.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for resolving complex issues.
  • Reporting on financial performance, compliance, and operational metrics related to the account.
  • Provide regular updates and host meetings with the client to review performance and address concerns.
  • Support and mentor team members involved in managing the account to uphold high service standards.

Key skills required:

  • Significant experience within the leasehold space.
  • Extensive knowledge of the section 20 process and dealing with major works projects.
  • BSA, Health & Safety, Fire Safety and related Building Safety knowledge is essential.
  • Notable client relationship management skills.
  • Strong customer service and attention to detail.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management experience.
