Our client is a highly regarded, upmarket lettings and property management company with a large portfolio of properties around London’s prestigious Holland Park. They are responsible for letting and managing the residential and commercial property portfolios as well as the freehold scheme of management.

They are currently looking to recruit an experienced property manager to support their small, friendly team. To be considered for this position you will have had at least 2 years’ experience within a property management role and be ARLA qualified, or working towards this qualification.

Your main responsibilities will be to ensure the residential occupiers of our client’s London Estate receive an excellent and effective customer focused service, with the aim of keeping voids to a minimum and maximising income. The role will involve:

• Managing the day to day property maintenance issues in all let properties, ensuring that they are dealt with promptly and to a high standard• Responding promptly to tenant queries and building strong relationships with tenants• Carrying out regular property inspections, at least once a year• Liaising with letting agents to value and remarket properties• Ensuring all contracts required for the planned maintenance of the let properties are in place and that all servicing and maintenance is completed on time• Booking works and raising works orders• Reception duties to include answering phones, daily post, managing keys (including arranging additional sets), filing, invoice processing, ordering of stationary and other office supplies• Arranging appointments with tenants and contractors and providing access to properties as required• Uploading documents to QUBE (property management system) and electronic filing• Utility management for change of occupier• Monitoring approved contractors• Supporting the residential and commercial teams with day to day property management matters and providing cover to all colleagues where necessary.

Personal specification:

• Minimum of 2 years’ property management experience• ARLA qualified - preferred• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office• Ideally good knowledge of QUBE Property Management and Maintenance Management• Highly organised and reliable with good attention to detail• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing with people at all levels• IT competent• Cheerful disposition• Good timekeeping• Flexible "can do" attitude and willingness to learn• Excellent team worker.
