Overview

I am working with my client, a leading specialist in Insurance & Reinsurance broking, to find an experienced Account Handler for their growing US Property team. In this role, you’ll focus on technical tasks such as slip production, mid-term adjustments, and client servicing. Over time, you may take on some broking responsibilities. This position involves working with both wholesale and retail clients in the open market. Previous experience in Property Insurance is essential, ideally with US Property experience, but international experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Slip production, mid-term adjustments, and wordings
  • Client management, ensuring a high level of service
  • Support brokers and clients in open market transactions
  • Handle technical queries and negotiations with market contacts
  • Work within a collaborative technical team, with potential for transition to broking after 2 years

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience in Property Insurance (US Property preferred, but international experience considered)
  • Strong technical knowledge of insurance processes
  • Client-facing experience, with the potential to take on broking responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
