As a leading UK specialist Business Services & Investment Partner Group, this fast-expanding business is responsible for project and services delivery across a broad range of Public Private Partnership investments. Due to ongoing expansion and development of the investments, a newly created Valuation Associate role has arisen for a 2:1/1st class graduate with 2-4 years relevant analytical experience and strong Excel modelling skills. You will support the team providing analytical support from a project and portfolio perspective.

Key Responsibilities of the Valuation Associate

  • Update financial models - Maintain and enhance project and fund models, producing DCF valuations and IRRs.
  • Review and recommend assumptions - Assess modelling inputs and propose data-driven adjustments.
  • Prepare valuation reports - Lead the creation of valuation reporting packs for relevant funds.
  • Conduct market research - Analyze political and economic factors impacting the portfolio.
  • Support reporting and audits - Assist with investor, debt, and regulatory reports and coordinate external audits.

Skills & Attributes of the Valuation Associate

  • Strong academic background - Minimum 2:1 degree from a top university.
  • Relevant industry experience - 2-4 years in a financial role, ideally within renewable energy.
  • Advanced financial modelling - Ability to review, evaluate, and manage financial models effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills - Present technical financial data in a clear, concise manner.
  • Organised and detail-oriented - Meet deadlines, solve problems, and produce high-quality reports.
