Our client, a leading property consultancy, based near Covent Garden, are currently seeking an experience RICS qualified Valuation Surveyor to join them due to continued growth. In this position the successful candidate will be working on a variety of projects from the commercial and residential sector varying in size predominately within that medium to large scale. This consultancy pride themselves in providing the highest level possible and their goal is to help their clients maximizing the value of their property assets, through their expert advice and guidance

They're currently look for recent qualified individuals who are RICS Registered Valuers with practical experience within the commercial sector. The successful individual would join their growing valuation team, predominately covering the London and the South East. This is mostly an office based role but upon the completion a successful probation flexible working can be offered.



Valuation Surveyor Position Overview

  • Specialising in providing valuation advice on a variety of property assets
  • Assisting and undertaking formal Red Book valuations for a variety of purposes
  • Assisting in portfolio valuations for financial accounting purposes
  • Assisting with asset management and consultancy advice for landlord clients
  • Working with a range of clients including investors, developers, landed estates, charities and members of the legal profession
  • Providing advice to clients based on strong sector knowledge through wider collaboration with departments and personal research
  • Maintaining department databases
  • Maintaining an understanding of both local and national real estate markets and industry trends
  • Providing timely professional advice ensuring deadlines are met.


Valuation Surveyor Position Requirements

  • Degree/Masters Degree (2:1 minimum)
  • RICS qualified
  • RICS Registered Valuer
  • Excellent, verbal, numerical and report writing skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook essential
  • Strong knowledge of Excel essential and financial modelling skills desirable
  • Previous experience of using valuation software such as Argus Enterprise or KEL Sigma
