A secondary school located in Camden is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor to join our supportive team. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students to provide support in managing behaviour, fostering emotional resilience, and ensuring that every student can reach their full potential.
- Behaviour Mentor with proven experience in managing challenging behaviour
- Passionate about working with vulnerable young people and making a positive impact on their lives.
- Able to commute to Camden on a daily basis
- Behaviour Mentor who is committed to working full-time, Monday to Friday.
- Ideally, the Behaviour Mentor will be Team Teach trained, though training can be provided for the right candidate
.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with behavioural and emotional challenges.
- Implement individual behaviour plans and strategies to encourage positive behaviour.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure students are fully supported.
- Monitor student progress and make adjustments to interventions as necessary.
- Promote a positive and inclusive school culture by encouraging respect, responsibility, and positive relationships.
About You:
- A strong passion for working with young people and making a positive impact.
- Experience or knowledge in supporting students with behavioural or emotional needs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with students, staff, and families.
- A proactive and compassionate approach to helping students succeed.
