Lord Search & Selection have partnered with a growing and well-established consultancy. They are looking for an experienced Consultant Health Economist to join their expanding team. This role offers the chance to work on high-impact projects across a variety of therapeutic areas while providing technical leadership and strategic insights to clients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, validate, and quality-check economic models to support HTA submissions.
  • Provide technical and strategic guidance to clients on model specifications and economic evaluations.
  • Lead research, data analysis, and the preparation of technical reports.
  • Manage multiple projects effectively, ensuring delivery within scope and timelines.
  • Support business development by identifying follow-on opportunities and contributing to proposals.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, contributing to their growth and the overall success of the team.


Requirements:

  • MSc in Health Economics or a related discipline.
  • Hands-on modelling experience is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of UK HTA processes (e.g., NICE, SMC, AWMSG).
  • Excellent project management and client communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external teams.


Desired Skills:

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience mentoring and managing junior staff is a plus.
