This is a chance to play a vital role in a newly launched, innovative project designed to support therapeutically trained foster carers who care for children with complex and higher-level needs in a nurturing, family-based environment.

�? About the Encompass Therapeutic Hub

The Hub is comprised of a committed team of highly experienced foster carers and supervising social workers. Our aim is to deliver trauma-informed, therapeutic care that transforms lives and helps children thrive.

?? What You'll Be Doing:

As a Senior Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive Encompass Family Assessments
  • Undertaking regular home visits to support and supervise Encompass families
  • Participating in PEPs, CLA reviews, and other relevant child-focused meetings
  • Performing unannounced visits to ensure high standards of care and safeguarding
  • Ensuring ongoing compliance checks are up to date
  • Representing the service at panels, reviews, and matching meetings
  • Contributing to project work within the Hub, aimed at achieving outstanding outcomes
  • Collaborating with all areas of Children's Services to support the best interests of each child
