Role: Locum Clinical or Counselling Psychologist - CAMHS
Hours: Flexible, 22.5 - 37.5 hours per week
Rate: £40 - £45 per hour

We are seeking a skilled Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team within a hospital setting. This locum role offers a unique opportunity to work with young people and their families, contributing to service development and transformation across the CAMHS service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological assessment, formulation, and evidence-based interventions for children, adolescents, and their families
  • Contribute actively to the ongoing development and transformation of CAMHS services
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care tailored to the needs of young people
  • Support the emotional and psychological well-being of service users through evidence-based psychological therapies

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
  • Qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with experience working in a CAMHS or NHS setting
  • Band 8a level experience or equivalent
