A University in London is looking for a Change Communications Consultant to join the team for an initial 4 month period. The Change Communications Consultant will develop a high-level communication plan and work with wider project teams to plan and deliver a compelling change journey.

The team operate a very hybrid flexible working model with on site work monthly.

This role is open to part time or full time working.

Description

  • Lead on the development and delivery of stakeholder engagement and communications plans.
  • Identify and prepare mitigation tactics.
  • Partner with senior stakeholder who are part of the particular projects and build relationships across the institution.
  • Undertake change impact assessments.
  • Work with project teams to define and integrate the deliverables and milestones for their project change plans.
  • Matrix management across the wider department.

Profile

The successful Change Communications Consultant should have:

  • Educated to degree level or the equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrable track record of successfully organising, managing and delivering complex change projects and the communications as part of these projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrable communications background with the ability to evaluate, develop and implement change communications plans/strategies.
  • Creative and innovative problem solver.
  • Has an understanding of how change impacts people and how change management can support positive outcomes.
  • Desirable but not essential: Knowledge or background of the higher education sector, or relevant field.

Job Offer

  • Day rate position, either PAYE or Umbrella.
  • Initial 4 month contract with potential extensions.
  • Hybrid working - we welcome applications from those outside of London.
  • Part time or full time working available.
