Senior D365FO Finance Consultant (with Power Platform Skills) - London - £90K

Nigel Frank is partnering with a leading global consultancy firm on their search for a Senior D365FO Finance & SCM Consultant.

Our client is renowned for delivering exceptional business technology transformation services to organisations worldwide. They are expanding their expert consulting team to strengthen their offering in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Power Platform solutions. As a Senior Consultant, you will work closely with various clients, driving successful D365FO implementations, optimising finance and supply chain processes, and utilising the Power Platform to deliver impactful results. This role will also involve mentoring junior team members and contributing to strategic projects.

This position requires 3 days a week on client sites, with the remaining time working from home.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end D365FO implementations for Finance or SCM, acting as a subject matter expert for diverse client projects.
  • Collaborate with clients to design comprehensive, tailored solutions and recommend best practices.
  • Conduct workshops, configure D365FO systems, and oversee complex integration's.
  • Develop and deliver advanced Power BI dashboards for client financial and operational reporting.
  • Use Power Automate to streamline and automate complex client work-flows, driving efficiency.
  • Build and implement custom Power Apps to address unique client business challenges, ensuring seamless integration with D365FO.
  • Provide strategic recommendations post-implementation and work on continuous optimisation projects.
  • Mentor junior consultants, fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality project delivery.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with D365FO, specialising in Finance or SCM.
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes (e.g., budgeting, compliance) or supply chain operations (e.g., logistics, inventory management).
  • Proven track record in leading successful ERP implementations in a consultancy setting.
  • Expertise with Power BI for data visualisation, Power Automate for work-flow automation, and Power Apps for custom solutions.
  • Experience in data migration, integration, and project management.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and leadership skills.
