Finance Graduate - Index Product - Client Support

Our client, a leading organization in finance, technology and financial news sector, is looking for a diligent and highly motivated individual with excellent customer service skills and a passion for finance to join their dynamic team. This is temporary contract until the end of Dec 2024 with a high possibility of extension up to 1-year with an immediate start date.

This is a great opportunity for finance graduates to begin their career within a leading organisation in the technology and finance industry. The successful candidate will be working on the company's help desk. They will be the primary point of contact for clients seeking assistance regarding index products. As part of this, they will be confirming financial data, sourcing data, corresponding with index and custom basket providers and also interacting with internal stakeholders.

Applicants should have demonstrable interest in Indices & financial markets in general, prior experience within customer service, extremely good communication skills and be confident to engage with finance professionals over the phone. Ability to multi-task, attention to detail and ability to maintain focus and motivation while working in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to address inquiries related to the index product, providing comprehensive and effective solutions.
  • Verify and confirm financial data accurately to maintain the integrity of the information provided to clients.
  • Source data from various channels to ensure the accuracy and completeness of information within the index product.
  • Maintain seamless communication and foster strong relationships with index and custom basket providers.
  • Closely collaborate with internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and articulate communication when handling client requests.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or similar discipline.
  • Fantastic customer service skills and ability to engage with finance professionals is a must.
  • Prior experience / strong knowledge and understanding of the Indices is preferred.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with both external and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast pace changing environment.
  • Self-motivated, task-oriented, and high degree of professionalism and integrity.
  • Take ownership and be proactive with key areas of responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Motivation to grow and develop within the organisation and strong desire to progress.
