Head of Immigration and Compliance - to £50 000. Yorkshire or London based.

As Head of Immigration and Compliance, you will lead and oversee the University’s compliance with Home Office rules for international staff and students at both the Yorkshire and London campuses. You will take responsibility for the smooth operation of the immigration compliance framework. You will act as an ambassador for good practice, connecting to the Higher Education immigration landscape and working with departments to adopt best practices.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in immigration compliance, experience working with UKVI regulations and policies and a deep understanding of the Higher Education sector. You will be a strategic thinker, a strong communicator, with the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.

The Head of Immigration and Compliance will be the University’s authority on all matters pertaining to visa compliance for overseas students. They will give expert and informed advice to relevant colleagues.

You will be the definitive source of advice for colleagues in Human Resources around compliance with the employment of staff from the EU and Overseas.
