About the Role
Main Developer clients are after a Technical Coordinator to join their UK Construction Team.
You will be someone with at least 5 years experience in the industry, and experience as a Technical Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have experience with RC frames and high rise residential projects, experience with both internal and external packages.
Responsibilities:
- Quality management
- Assist and report to the Technical Manager on project
- Ensure comprehensive review and coordination of all project information, including drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.
- Liaise with the design team to track progress against the design program, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project timelines.
- Manage the collation and issuance of tender and construction drawings, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Conduct thorough as-built demise checks, comparing completed work to project specifications and brochures, ensuring adherence to design intent.
- Provide on-site support as needed, assisting with construction logistics, phasing plans, and coordination of specialist subcontractor approvals.
- Collaborate effectively with various teams, including design, construction, and specialist subcontractors, to maintain efficient communication and ensure project documentation is complete.
- Ensure timely closure of RFIs and secures necessary approvals from specialist subcontractors to maintain the construction program.
- Assist with the compilation of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) manuals to ensure proper documentation for future project management.
Qualifications And Skills:
- Relevant Degree or diploma in industry related field, or working towards a degree.
- Must have experience working for developers, high rise residential mixed use schemes
- Experience of assisting with coordinating and managing the design team
- Enthusiastic about construction, and driven are key attributes
