This is an opportunity for a driven Buyer to join a specialist developer who convert commercial office space to hotels across central London
About the role of Buyer
Your role as Buyer will be to work as work as part of the commercial team supporting materials buying purchases for the live projects under Cut & Carve working under a senior buyer.
Requirements for Buyer:
The ideal candidate is someone who is a motivated and looking to progress their own career and comes from a developer background with experience in Materials buying.
- Be able to investigate new potential suppliers to strengthen our supply chain.
- Be able to understand construction drawings and components.
- Ideally good knowledge of curtain wall and building materials.
- Sourcing, negotiating purchasing materials & plant
- Understanding of project contractual requirements and ensure these are relayed to suppliers and sub-contractors as required
The company:
The company are hotel developer who build for themselves. They have recently acquired 5 new sites, with 20 live projects across London at this time. Projects are all Cut & Carve with high peck fit outs with units ranging from 40 - 500. The office is based central London with most sites within walking distance of the office however you will be predominately office based. The company and in a secure financial position, and will continue to grow in the UK market.
