Temporary Buying Admin Assistant - 3 Months

Key Responsibilities:

Performance Monitoring:

  • Generate weekly trade reports to track department performance and stock levels
  • Prepare event performance reports, highlighting key insights and identifying opportunities and risks
  • Coordinate daily pricing activities, manage uploads and requests, ensuring accuracy in Just In data
  • Run Sell Thru Performance reports and collaborate with Merchandisers to identify actionable insights by brand, category, and PID

Stock and Sales Management:

  • Manage intake flow, ensuring stock delivery targets and inbound Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met
  • Support with WSI Promo and Clearance builds
  • Update Brand Weekly Stock and Sales Intake (WSSI) and Markdown Funding Requirement (MFR) reports
  • Prepare daily performance reports, highlighting key findings and managing visibility of key brands with PID restrictions

Administrative Support:

  • Prepare and distribute key department and FOB Monday reports
  • Refresh ad-hoc reports as needed, providing timely support to Assistant Merchandisers
  • Prepare analysis and trend reports to assist with stock buys and buy plans
  • Compile performance reports to support strategy meetings and business reviews
  • Take ownership of key business reports
  • Support the Merchandise Operations Team with weekly intake reports
  • Collaborate with Buying Admin Assistants to support the broader B&M team tasks

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot tables
  • Team player with excellent relationship-building skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proactive problem solver with the ability to use initiative efficiently
  • Excellent work ethic and multitasking abilities
