We are seeking a Procurement Manager to support our clients Assets & Estates Category team. This role is crucial for developing and managing the sourcing strategy and contracting process. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with experience in public procurement regulations and FM works, capable of leading the business through the tendering process and ensuring compliance and strategic alignment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Develop and manage the sourcing strategy and contracting process for the Assets & Estates Category.
  • Produce compliant sourcing plans and ensure timely contract awards.
  • Manage ongoing supplier performance and risk.
  • Develop market analysis and multi-year category plans in line with the team’s transformation plan.
  • Utilise procurement data analytics and Management Information (MI) to enhance procurement processes.
  • Engage stakeholders proactively and reliably, ensuring prompt resolution of actions and issues.
  • Train and manage one direct report, guiding their professional development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in Facilities Management (FM) works and public procurement regulations.
  • Strong understanding of JCT and NEC contract formats.
  • Proven ability to lead tendering processes and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience in compliance and understanding its importance in procurement.
  • Working towards CIPS certification is desirable, as part of professional development.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and train team members.
