Portfolio Procurement is seeking a Construction Buyer/Planner for a leading client based in North London.
The role involves managing procurement activities, negotiating with suppliers, and planning inventory levels.
Candidates must have previous experience in a Buying role within the construction sector, with preference for those from off-site manufacturing.
Experience with stock control and planning systems is required, along with strong organizational skills and data analysis capabilities.
The position offers a salary of £48,355.

Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading North London based client to recruit for a Construction Buyer/Planner.

Responsibilities:

Working on existing systems to manage procurement activities
Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimum pricing and terms
Plan inventory levels to maintain optimal stock holding.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a Buying role from the construction sector, candidates with experience from an off-site manufacturing business will also be considered.
Previous experience with stock control and the associated use of planning systems.
Good organisational skills.
Ability to analyse and data and use it to make informed purchasing decisions.
