Our client, a global leader in this dynamic industry, is seeking an enthusiastic IT Strategic Sourcing Manager/Procurement Manager to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity to drive efficiency, innovation, and strategic sourcing in a fast-paced environment.

What You Bring:

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in sourcing technology products and services.
  • Advanced key procurement skills: development and management of category strategies; RFP / RFI development, contract negotiations, strategic sourcing, management of supplier relationship lifecycle, understanding of risk mitigation principles, and understanding of various cost evaluation methods (TCO, ROI, Payback Period, etc.)
  • Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiations (RFP/RFI development).
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing business strategy, extensive business case writing, strong background in market intelligence research, and proficient in negotiation strategy and tactics.
  • Advanced contracting skills - knowledge of contracting principles, laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Advanced procurement skills, including category strategy management and risk mitigation.
  • Ability to manage multiple request intakes from the business simultaneously from start the closeout according to policy and procedure documentation.
  • Extensive experience managing Business Requirements, Project Plans, Project Schedules, and associated project materials in a mid to large size company.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly and adapt to various audiences.
  • Background in Payment industry or financial sector is essential

What You'll Be Doing:

As the Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will play a crucial role in:

  • Engaging with Strategic Suppliers: Competitively source IT spend through collaboration and application of your industry knowledge.
  • Drafting and Negotiating Contracts: Manage and execute a variety of contractual documents, including non-disclosure agreements, master service agreements, and statements of work.
  • Liaising with Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand functional and financial requirements and identify the best suppliers.
  • Presenting Strategies: Summarise sourcing strategies, business cases, and deal sheets for executive review and approval.

Your Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong background in market intelligence research and business strategy development.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience is essential
