My London based public sector client is looking for a principal procurement officer to join them on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Senior Procurement Specialist, the role will be responsible for delivering above and below threshold procurement projects as well as supporting on high value procurements and advising stakeholders on procurement options and procurement processes.
Day to day you will manage your own workload including end to end procurement processes, tender and contract management, stakeholder engagement, supplier or framework identification and supporting the delivery of the wider procurement strategy.
You will need to have previous experience in public sector procurement and will also be able to work on your own initiative with limited supervision.
This is a permanent role with 1 day a week in the office and paying a salary of circa £40,000.
