Job Title: Procurement Assistants (Two Positions)Location: Central London About the Company: My client is a prestigious and well-known company within the art world.  They are seeking two Procurement Assistants to join on a 6-12 month basis.  The role is hybrid, 3 days per week in their stunning central London offices.Job Description: We are seeking two highly motivated and skilled Procurement Assistants.  These roles involve managing purchase orders, liaising with various departments, overseeing the invoice cycle, accounts payable duties, procurement administration, budget monitoring, supplier due diligence, and setting up new suppliers.Key Responsibilities:
  • Raising purchase orders (2.5 days per week)
  • Liaising with other departments and colleagues, probing department spend
  • Seeing the invoice cycle through from start to finish
  • Accounts payable
  • Procurement administration
  • Budget monitoring
  • Supplier due diligence
  • Setting up new suppliers
Qualifications:
  • Strong initiative and common sense
  • Experience in questioning decisions and pushing back on senior members regarding buying decisions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confidence in checking payments and ensuring good deals
  • Ability to check contracts and ensure terms are signed
