Location: Canary Wharf, London (Hybrid working approach, circa 1 day per week in office)

Hours: 35 hours per week, from 9.00 to 5.00, Monday to Friday

The Role

As a Procurement Business Partner, you will be pivotal in managing procurement activities, ensuring compliance with UK Public Procurement Legislation, and supporting stakeholders throughout the procurement process. You will gain hands-on experience across all procurement categories and contribute to building supplier relationships, delivering value for money, and driving continuous service improvement.

This role provides a unique opportunity to work on varied projects, enhancing your procurement expertise while partnering with different teams to make strategic procurement decisions. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth procurement life cycles, and your team-player mindset will foster strong collaborations across the organisation.

This role is subject to a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of our pre-employment due diligence.

The successful applicant will:

  • Demonstrate end-to-end experience in procurement exercises, including tendering, selection, award processes and contract negotiations.
  • Be a proactive learner who stays up to date with public procurement regulations and best practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to meet procurement objectives and build strong partnerships, whilst developing junior team members.
  • Contribute to contract management by supporting the monitoring of supplier performance and ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
