Butler Rose is working with one of the largest housing associations in London and the South-East in their search for an experienced Procurement Manager to help deliver their procurement programme through a collaborative, business partnering approach. This is a permanent role with hybrid working (2 days in the office) and will pay a salary up to £62,387 dependant on experience. This role focuses on ensuring that procurement activities are carried out in a commercially effective and robust manner, while managing risk and ensuring alignment with the organisation's core values. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to the overall success of the business. Key Responsibilities: * As the Procurement Manager, you will lead complex procurement projects, working closely with the Senior Procurement Manager to develop and execute effective strategies. * You will be responsible for independently managing a wide range of procurement projects across various procedures, making this a highly varied and challenging role. * The ideal candidate will thrive in taking ownership and building strong working relationships. Ideal Candidate: * The ideal candidate will have significant experience in procurement, ideally within the Housing sector. * You will have a track record of successfully delivering complex, above-threshold tenders and be familiar with Find a Tender (FTS) compliant frameworks. * An in-depth understanding of Public Contract Regulations (PCRs 2015) and current procurement legislation is essential. * Strong communication skills are required, as the role involves managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders. * The ideal candidate will also be a strong team player who can adapt to changing workloads and support colleagues when needed.
