Cedar are supporting a key client based in Central London who are looking to hire a Procurement Officer. This role is a permanent position offering a salary up to £46,000 per annum plus a range of benefits which include a final salary pension and free and/or discounted train fares. The role will operate on a hybrid working basis with the expectations to be on-site 2 days per week with the remaining days open to work from home.

Reporting into the Senior Procurement Manager, the Procurement Officer will work in the Procurement team and will be responsible for various elements of the end to end procurement process and will help ensure the department follows best practice and delivers value for money through all procurement activities undertaken. The successful candidate will run a variety of different tenders and help manage parts of the end to end process and ensure that the eProcurement system is used compliantly and effectively as part of the process.

Candidates applying for this role MUST HAVE:

  • Ideally CIPS qualified or working towards CIPS qualification
  • Proven track record working in a Procurement role i.e. c3 years' experience minimum would be advantageous
  • Experience working in the Public Sector and/or in the Rail/Transport industry would be advantageous
