Job title: Purchasing and Accounts Payable Officer
Duration: 3 months, interim
Location: A short walk from Borough Market
Pattern: Hybrid
Pay: £14 - £15 an hour + holiday pay
Working as a Purchasing and Accounts Payable Officer you work as part of a wider finance team and report to the Finance Manager, supporting the team to successfully deliver a timely and accurate service to the wider organisation.
Your role and duties as Purchasing and Accounts Payable Officer will include;
- Process accounts payable officer
- Match purchase order number
- Process income
- Download supplier statements
- Set up new suppliers
- Collect and process credit card receipts
- Reconcile credit card statement
This is a busy and exciting role, during when you will have a variety of responsibilities. The skills and knowledge you will bring to the role Purchasing and Accounts Payable Officer will include;
- Knowledge of debits and credits
- Prior experience in matching, batching and coding purchase ledger invoices
- Knowledge of reconciliation
- Working knowledge of accounting soft wares such as Sage, Xero
- Ability to manage your time effectively and juggle a variety of responsibilities
