Penguin Recruitment are supporting a leading Central London planning consultancy in their search for a Senior Planner, because of growing workloads. we are looking a Senior Planner / Associate to join the retail team in our Central London office. The company's services include, but are not limited to, Planning Applications, Planning Appeals, Site Promotion and Heritage Planning.

The Role:

The role will involve a mix of retail, trade and warehouse schemes, some food store/ retail park schemes, and potentially local authority retail studies. Some exciting retail projects this company has previously been involved in include IKEA, Waitrose, and commercial district centres. As a Senior Planner, you will play a key role in managing complex planning applications. Liaising with clients and providing strategic planning advice with successful outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience in Planning, preferably in the retail sector.
  • Have experience of undertaking retail work including undertaking sequential assessments and retail impact assessments.
  • Experience running jobs and meetings.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be enthusiastic, career-minded and committed to their own personal development.
