Senior Planner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planner to join a leading name in Main Contracting to work on various Major Projects in and around Central London. Our client has an exceptional name across the industry and are a great company to work for due to their excellent financial position and their strong pipeline of work ahead. They operate across a number of sectors including healthcare, residential, and education and more recently have a focus on developing the industrial sector within the business.

As a Senior Planner you will be working across the Pre Construction & Construction Delivery Teams to offer planning expertise on multiple projects at tender, PCSA and delivery stages of projects that can range from 5M - 300M+ in value.

About the role of a Senior Planner:

• Provide consistent, accurate and reliable programme data.
• Develop and communicate planning intent and proposed solutions competently using Asta PowerProject, P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Can communicate and present planned intent and logic assumptions clearly both internally and externally to the business unit.
• Develop project specific Programmes, Method Statements and Logistics Plans during both the bid and operational phases.
• Keep records of any assumptions or constraints that have been made whilst developing Project Programmes, Schedules and Logistics Plans.

Requirements for the Senior Planner role:

• Demonstrate relevant previous experience in Building/Construction.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of the construction process from inception to completion of a project.
• Demonstrate a good IT knowledge - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail whilst reviewing and compiling programme solutions.
• Possess good communication skills.
