Role: Strategic Sourcing
Location: Chiswick / Holborn, UK
Duration: 05 months contract

The Role:
路 The Sourcing team constantly seeks to acquire the best quality of goods and/or services while optimising cost, embracing innovation and mitigating business risk linked to the acquired goods and/or services.
Daily:
路 Providing active support to the Sourcing Team as part of the department鈥檚 activities
路 Lead and support multiple sourcing / procurement projects (with support from the team).
路 Act as an internal business resource, to help resolve sourcing related queries (finding new suppliers, analysing spend and requirements, supporting stakeholders).
路 Conduct market research to support various team projects.
路 Evaluate the data access suppliers will have and the risk they pose to the business
路 Handle confidential information surrounding purchases, new suppliers, licenses, and scripts being purchased. Including contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Conflict of Interest (COI) applications.
路 Manage supplier relationships to ensure any deadlines are met for projects both within the Global Sourcing Team (e.g. tenders) and companywide from a project perspective.
The Essentials:
1. Strong interpersonal skills / communication (relationship building is key to the role)
2. Highly analytical and strong attention to detail
3. Procurement knowledge / experience (circa 1-2yrs)
4. Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word & PowerPoint
5. Well organised & disciplined
6. Ability to communicate confidently in a mature manner
7. Interest in Sports (preferred)
8. Some experience working with supplier contracts (preferred)
