The Business:

FTSE 100 household name in the FMCG/Retail space. A Procurement function with a phenomenal reputation for development, progression and 'best practice'.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on procurement projects in the IT category covering the likes of SaaS/Software, Infrastructure, Networks, Cloud and IT Professional Services
  • A split between Category Planning and implementation, with delivery of procurement projects end to end
  • Opportunity Assessment - Proactive in identifying procurement opportunities and building stakeholder relationships
  • Support on spend reporting and analysis in a cross functional environment

Key Skills:

  • Indirect or IT procurement experience - Experience in the Technology category in some capacity is a nice to have but not a must. It is more important you have a good foundation of Procurement experience around the end to end process, with a good understanding of 'best practice' and the ambition to continuously grow and learn
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Project Management skills - able to manage multiple projects and deliver at pace
  • Strong interpersonal skill-set - able to build lasting relationships and influence these
  • Good understanding of category strategy/planning
  • CIPS/Degree or equivalent qualification
