Transforming conceptual designs and translating the fluffy idea into a technical, workable construction drawing, is possibly the most underrated discipline in construction.
Technical Designers are the true genius behind the design, as they take projects from design development through to something which can be constructed.
A skill set so niche, some contractors shy away from technical design as it poses contractual risk.
Other contractors take the technical design portions of the contract head on, confident with their expertise.
That is the case with this large fit out (60M) subcontractor who specialise in the design and installation in ceilings and partitions. Operating exclusively in commercial fit out, they work with tier one main contractors such as Overbury, Mace Interiors and Structuretone.
