Job Title:
Quality Management Lead

Description & Background:
Sizewell C (SZC) is one of the most exciting and largest megaprojects in the UK, at the forefront of the UKs climate change agenda and energy policy. Following the success of Hinkley Point C, SZC is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk that has obtained planning approval and Government financing support. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, supporting Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure supply-chain adherence to contracted quality assurance and quality control requirements
• Support the Quality Director and Quality Delivery Managers in achieving adherence to Integrated Management System arrangements
• Act as Intelligent Customer to ensure effective implementation of arrangements by the supply chain
• Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control arrangements across the SZC organization
• Lead the review, acceptance, and monitoring of Contractors Quality Assurance Plans (CQAP)
• Produce Project Quality Control Plans (PQCP) and ensure compliance with key quality contractual arrangements
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including contracted inspection entities
• Perform audits, surveillance, and joint inspections to maintain quality standards
• Lead the resolution of non-conformances and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Review and deliver end-of-manufacturing records for equipment release

Experience Required:
• Experience in project delivery, preferably in the nuclear power sector, with a focus on project quality
• Solid understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control in engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning
• Knowledge of Quality Systems, ISO standards, and ideally nuclear sector regulations
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective relationships
• Proven leadership experience and ability to influence and provide constructive challenge
• Experience in supplier management and performing supplier audits
