Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Location: Southwest London

Package: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum plus car allowance

A Tier One Main Contractor are on the lookout for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on a £25m Commercial project which consists of three Residential blocks.

You would be working for a company that is renowned for working within a variety of sectors and being one of the busiest contractors to work for in the UK.

Responsibilities

Working closely with a Senior QS on a project based in Southwest London where you will be part of a collaborative Commercial team.
Assist with the compiling of tender packages for all sub-contract trades.
Receive tenders and assist with the analysis sheet for each trade comparing tender levels.
Assist with the issuing of sub-contract orders in accordance with Group Policy and Commercial Best Practice to budget and within programme requirements. Attend sub-contract pre-order meetings.
Liaise with Build Department on sub-contractors' performance and compliance with order conditions

Requirements

Experience working with a UK Main Contractor.
Has the ambitions and drive to progress.
Ideally New Build experience, value is not essential.
Degree qualified or working towards.
