The Assistant Quantity Surveyor Role
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, gaining exposure to a wide variety of projects, including cladding remediation, retrofit, estate regeneration, rooftop developments, and traditional building works, with values reaching up to £50m.
You'll be responsible for key pre- and post-contract duties, including cost planning, valuations, cost control, and reporting, playing a hands-on role in delivering high-profile schemes.
This consultancy fosters a collaborative and innovative environment, with a team of 25 professionals ranging from junior to chartered senior surveyors. With a flat structure that encourages fresh ideas and career progression, there is a clear pathway to senior roles, including Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Director positions.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor
The incoming Assistant Quantity Surveyor will have:
- Completed a Quantity Surveying degree (or RICS accredited/construction related course)
- Minimum of 12 months Quantity Surveying experience
- Previous Quantity Surveying experience within a PQS / Consultancy practice
- Basic pre (and ideally post) contract knowledge
- Articulate, professional, career focused
