About the role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor:
Opportunity for an experienced assistant quantity surveyor to join a reputable main contractor with 25 years in the industry working on light commercial and high-end residential projects. Projects are all mainly small works and maintenance and offer the chance to work closely alongside, learn from and assist industry expert seniors on site.
Responsibilities for Assistant Quantity Surveyor:
- Working from the PCSA/2 Stage tender process, to delivering the site and working through to completion and final accounts.
- Managing works on multiple small works and maintenance projects at once.
- Assisting both the Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors on site.
- Managing packages, collating CVRs and managing the commercial process.
Requirements for Assistant Quantity Surveyor:
- Degree qualified and needs to be construction based.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Personable and friendly character to fit in with company culture.
