Salary: c35k-45k basic plus competitive package inc car or allowance, healthcare and pension.

Company & Project: A Tier 1 Main Contractor with an excellent reputation across London and project portfolio which includes Mixed-Use, Residential, Education and Science sectors are recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their long standing commercial team, working as part of a team managing packages on a c35m project in West London, which has a c18 month programme.

The company has an excellent staff retention rate, with numerous examples of surveyors who have joined their team at AQS level progressing to SQS, Managing QS and further. With a clear structure and programme in place for their employees personal development, this role is to work closely with a Managing QS that is very well thought of and would act as an excellent mentor.

Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for assisting with and managing daily commercial management functions, including but not limited to; measurement & valuations, applications for payment, reconciling accounts, dealing with sub-contract orders and enquiries, through to practical completion of the project and settling final accounts - for specific packages on the project, working with the commercial team.

Previous experience working for a Main Contractor is essential.

Desirable Experience:

- BSc Quantity Surveying or MSc Quantity Surveying qualification.

- Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Previous Roles: Assistant Quantity Surveyor OR Graduate Quantity Surveyor OR Trainee Quantity Surveyor OR Trainee Cost Manager OR Assistant Cost Manager.

Qualifications & Skills: Degree or MSc in Quantity Surveying.
