A multi-functional building consultancy in London seeks a bright and enthusiastic Assistant Quantity Surveyor eager for greater responsibility within a firm that prioritises professional growth.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor's Role

The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will work closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor and Associate Director on a broad range of projects, including high-risk buildings within the residential, mixed-use, and education sectors.

Day-to-day, the new Assistant Quantity Surveyor will carry out a full array of pre- and post-contract tasks, including estimating, cost planning, preparing contracts and tender documents, cost reporting, and contributing at client and site meetings.

Joining a dynamic and innovative team of 27, with a close-knit commercial group of three, this is the ideal time to step in as the company expands its QS department. With ambitious growth plans in place and a move to larger, more modern offices scheduled soon, you have the opportunity to join before this expansion takes off. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor

  • A RICS accredited degree
  • 12+ months quantity surveying experience within a consultancy / cost management firm
  • Eager to work towards APC and achieve chartership

  • Worked on projects within the built environment particularly residential, commercial or education
