Our client is a small, private cost consultancy practice based in C.London. Over the past 5 years, they’ve carved a sound reputation for delivering high end residential, leisure / hospitality and hotel developments across the UK South / London area.

Now employing c15 cost specialists, they boast a strong cohort of project level surveyors and now require a competent Assistant level Quantity Surveyor who’s preferably within their APC stages. In a supportive environment, your technical role will encompass a full suite of pre and post contract administration including some employers agent duties and you will initially help support a number of projects (JCT) but anticipated to take further project runnign responsibility in due course.

Candidates wishing to apply must have completed a BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying (RICS accredited) degree with a minimum of 12-18 months PQS experience, specifically within the UK. It’s expected that applicants will be currently employed by a UK based PQS and be working towards their Chartership.

Key personal criteria includes being personable, articulate and presentable to manage clients accordingly. If capable, you will be given immediate opportunities re: client management so you should demonstrate confidence and resilience in your ability to handle this level of responsibility form an early stage. Candidates should also have good, competent IT software skills.
