A renowned construction and property consultancy, recognised for its innovation and commitment to excellence, is seeking to expand its dynamic London-based team. This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate Quantity Surveyor of Cost Management to join the firm, work directly with clients, and lead impactful projects across the UK.

The Associate Quantity Surveyor Role

The appointed Associate Director will oversee cost management services for a diverse portfolio of projects, particularly within the residential sector, while also guiding project teams from acquisition through to practical completion. This full-time, hybrid role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders and clients, driving value and innovation.

With a key focus on team leadership and client engagement, the successful Associate Quantity Surveyor will manage multiple projects, foster client relationships, and play a critical role in shaping the future of the consultancy's cost management division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing a variety of residential development projects
  • Providing expert guidance and support to clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Mentoring and developing junior team members
  • Building and nurturing client relationships
  • Engaging in business development and networking activities to drive growth

The Associate Quantity Surveyor

The ideal Associate Quantity Surveyor will be an adaptable and driven professional with a passion for the real estate and construction industry. You will play an essential role in the expansion and success of the cost management team.

  • Previous Quantity Surveying experience within a UK Consultancy / PQS firm
  • Demonstrable leadership skills with experience in managing teams and multiple projects
  • MRICS ideally
  • A track record of developing and nurturing talent
  • Strong client-facing and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent pre & post contract experience & a successful track record leading projects to completion
