Job Profile:
As a Chartered Surveyor, you will manage a diverse portfolio of exciting projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for professional services instructions, including pre-acquisition and condition surveys, due diligence reports, dilapidations negotiations, and party wall advice. In this role, you will also work to strengthen and maintain client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery. There will also be opportunities to support business development by generating repeat business and securing new projects.
Duties:
- Oversee a portfolio of medium to large-scale projects across multiple sectors, ensuring they are delivered from inception to completion.
- Conduct professional services such as pre-acquisition and condition surveys, due diligence reporting, dilapidation assessments, and party wall negotiations.
- Provide expert guidance on project issues and deliver detailed reports and recommendations for clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing high-quality service and addressing their specific property needs.
- Engage in business development activities, including generating repeat business from existing clients and winning new instructions.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across different departments to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Stay informed of relevant property regulations and trends to provide clients with up-to-date and accurate advice.
- Bachelors degree in building surveying or a similar RICS-accredited qualification.
- MRICS qualified (or working towards qualification).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial building surveying, with project experience being highly desirable.
- Proficient in IT, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and positive approach to work, with a passion for learning and career progression.
