Main Purpose of the Role

The key objective of this role is to lead to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Assume complete ownership of projects from handover to final client sign-off, ensuring adherence to profitability targets and delivery schedules.
  • Determine project resource requirements, including manpower, equipment, and materials, while mindful of budget constraints.
  • Strategically plan construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to guarantee timely project completion.
  • Collaborate with clients to align design specifics with ANS standards, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with the nursery team to plan production, ensuring timely availability of items for installation and addressing any arising issues promptly.
  • Liaise with site teams to effectively plan installation materials and resources, allowing ample time for acquisition.
  • Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to manage project costs and timelines effectively.
  • Liaise with finance to advise on the timely issuance of sales invoices.
  • Produce comprehensive Health & Safety documentation alongside Operation & Maintenance guides.
  • Act as a point of escalation to resolve any issues or delays, keeping the customer informed and updated at all times.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Hit target GP on projects Recorded on Weekly GP report.
  • Deliver projects on time - Recorded on Weekly GP report and Job Completion Sign Off Sheet.
  • Ensure all projects are invoiced up to date Sales analysis - Spreadsheet.

Key Requirements Qualifications, Experience, Skills

Essential:

3 years project management in construction/landscaping, including projects £1m+

Project costing management

Resource programming experience

Ability to read and understand drawings as you will be working alongside the design team

Proven experience in building a team with a strong team ethos

Experience in scheduling teams with software such as MS Projects, Smartsheets

Good problem solver with a positive can-do attitude

Team player who will go the extra mile

Use initiative, persistence, and determination

Goal/target driven

Willingness to travel

Qualifications & Training

  • Experience with MS Office
  • Fluent verbal and written English

Desirable:

  • SMSTS or SSSTS
  • Diploma or BSc in Project Management, Construction Management, or similar
  • Facade
  • Irrigation
