Role Overview:

Due to successful project tendering, our client is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their accomplished Commercial Team. The successful candidate will manage the M&E package of their flagship project in Canary Wharf. This is a permanent position with clear pathways for career progression, ideal for those committed to long-term growth within a forward-thinking company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project cost plans post-handover from the Estimating Department.
  • Review contract documentation prior to execution by company Directors.
  • Prepare and issue Sub-Contractor Order Documentation.
  • Oversee monthly project cost reports in preparation for Directors' meetings.
  • Source and manage specialist Mechanical and Electrical Sub-Contractors.
  • Collaborate with the Project Team to log, price, and submit contract variations and additions.
  • Prepare monthly project valuations and final account submissions.
  • Negotiate and manage final accounts with specialist Sub-Contractors.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Experience within new build residential projects.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong mathematical and IT proficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
