Managing Quantity Surveyor - London
Cobalt is currently engaged with an exciting start up Project and Cost Management business, that are looking to grow their team. With exceptional pipeline of works for 2025 and beyond, the business looks to double their headcount over the next 12 months, starting with a key hire in the shape of a Managing Quantity Surveyor to take the lead on projects and play a pivotal part in the future growth plans.
In its fourth year, this business has succeeded through a tough market, showcasing the skillset and talent of their team who offer Contract Management, Procurement, Project Management and Audit services; primarily within the Infrastructure, Data Centre, Commercial and Life Science sectors.
Salary Package:
£70,000 to £80,000 (dependant on experience)
The successful Managing Quantity Surveyor will handle the cost management of projects from pre contract estimates and tendering through to contract negotiations, variations and final account settlement. You will need to have a wide variety of sector experience, dynamic, handle projects autonomously and be comfortable working with limited supervision, allowing you to inject your own initiative and creativity as the projects progress. Ideally you will be MRICS qualified, experienced in delivery complex projects throughout the lifecycle and have exposure to MEP within developments as well as ambition to be part of a start-up environment, willing to 'get stuck in' whilst also sharing your experience and knowledge to take the business to greater heights.
