Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all mechanical cost aspects of the data centre project
  • Prepare accurate and detailed bills of quantities
  • Conduct cost analysis and financial forecasts to maintain budget control
  • Ensure procurement processes are efficient and cost-effective
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and contractors
  • Manage variations, change orders, and contract administration
  • Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders
  • Work within project deadlines and ensure all financial objectives are met


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on mechanical systems
  • Experience in data centre projects or large-scale industrial builds is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical installations including HVAC, pipework, and fire protection systems
  • Proficiency in cost management software and Excel
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment
