We are seeking a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team for an exciting data centre project in Finland. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all mechanical cost aspects of the data centre project
- Prepare accurate and detailed bills of quantities
- Conduct cost analysis and financial forecasts to maintain budget control
- Ensure procurement processes are efficient and cost-effective
- Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and contractors
- Manage variations, change orders, and contract administration
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Work within project deadlines and ensure all financial objectives are met
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on mechanical systems
- Experience in data centre projects or large-scale industrial builds is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of mechanical installations including HVAC, pipework, and fire protection systems
- Proficiency in cost management software and Excel
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment
- Willingness to relocate to Finland or already based locally
