A cutting edge, client-centric Independent Project & Cost Management Consultancy in London, near Green Park station, is looking for an ambitious MEP Quantity Surveyor.

The MEP Quantity Surveyor Role

The successful MEP Quantity Surveyor will join a thriving SME firm operating out of three strategic offices nationwide.

This role promises an exciting variety of sectors including Residential, Student Accommodation, Later Living, Offices, Life Sciences, Data Centres, Education, Hotel, Retail, Leisure, Industrial and Distribution with projects ranging up to £200m and are looking for an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to lead their MEP cost management service on projects.

This consultancy is recognized for its progressive nature and a flat organizational structure, which facilitates direct engagement with Partners and Directors and offers a transparent and achievable pathway for career advancement to the highest levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage individual MEP cost management assignments from inception to completion.
  • Act as a key technical resource within the field of MEP cost/commercial management, providing technical advice and solutions to internal colleagues in order to support successful project delivery across a range of projects.
  • Lead, coach and develop the skills and capabilities of team members in order to share knowledge, increase team skill level and improve the standard of service delivery.
  • Coordinate internal cost, design and supply chain data specific to MEP
  • Build relationships with contacts in the industry

The MEP Quantity Surveyor

The incoming MEP Quantity Surveyor will have:

  • A RICS Accredited degree qualification
  • MRICS or currently working towards is highly desirable
  • Previous MEP Quantity Surveying experience with a UK Consultancy or client side role
  • Strong pre and post contract experience
  • A successful track record working on / running projects from inception to completion
  • Any project experience in the above mentioned sectors is highly desirable
