The Role

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of five years' experience in residential and commercial projects? Do you have a proven track record in managing project costs and budgets from conception through to completion? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

CMT Design and Construction Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Project Quantity Surveyor to oversee up to two development and construction projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed within budget and on schedule. This role is ideal for someone who excels in cost management, has a meticulous approach, and is looking to join a dynamic and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Cost Control: Implement and maintain robust project cost control procedures, with monthly reporting on project costs and profitability.
  • Budget Management: Oversee each project budget, consistently updating final cost estimates to ensure complete cost and value reconciliation.
  • Cash Flow Analysis: Conduct and report on cash flow analysis for each project.
  • Procurement: Prepare tenders for subcontractors and materials, securing all necessary resources in line with project timelines.
  • Order Processing: Manage sub-contract orders, invoices, and payments within our software management system.
  • Valuations & Accounts: Assess and agree upon subcontractor valuations, variations, and instructions. Prepare payment certificates and final accounts for approval.
