This is an exciting opportunity for an Quantity Surveyor to work on a Cut and Carve projects ranging from 60m- 200m with a Tier 1 Main contractor who are dominating the London Construction market.
About the role of Quantity Surveyor
This is an opportunity to join one of the UKs leading Main contractors who have gone from strength to strength over the past 5 years and have requirement for a Quantity Surveyor to work as the no 2 on Cut and Carve projects ranging from 60m- 200m. You will be working as part of a commercial team on site managing the subcontractor packages form procurement, feeding in to CVRS and working closely with the senior to ensure the commercial success of the project. These projects are Zone 1 London and are full time site based positions.
Requirements for Quantity Surveyor:
The company are looking for a candidate who has strong negotiation and communication skills, is organised and has high attention to detail. You will come from a Main contractor background, and be competent in managing the downstream and have strong commercial acumen. You will be highly motivated and ambitious as there is opportunity to progress your career with the team.
- Degree in a construction related subject
- Experience with another main contractor
- proven experience managing packages and working closely with a commercial team
