Project Quantity Surveyor - Near-Remote Role - Bristol Base / London Projects

A leading UK consultancy is looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their Bristol team - but this role is practically remote.

The Project Quantity Surveyor Role

You'll be working closely with a key client in West London, managing a range of retail-focused refurbishment and new-build schemes (typically £0.5m-£2m). You'll have full flexibility to work from home, with just one client meeting per week in London, and a visit to the Bristol office twice a month for team catch-ups.

As the Project Quantity Surveyor, you'll take the lead on multiple projects for a single client - a major name in the retail sector. This is a long-standing relationship with plenty of room to grow, offering direct client exposure and a clear path to future progression.

The role sits within a collaborative and supportive Bristol-based team, but thanks to the structure of the work, you'll be trusted to manage your own time and maintain a strong work-life balance.

The Project Quantity Surveyor - Requirements

You will ideally have:

  • A RICS accredited degree qualification
  • MRICS or currently working towards chartership
  • Previous Quantity Surveying experience with a UK Consultancy
  • Capable of running projects independently from inception to completion
  • Previous Retail (new build or refurb) experience is highly desirable

In Return?

  • £50,000 - £55,000
  • Car allowance + Milage/Expenses
  • Genuinely flexible working
  • Career progression opportunities
  • Employee Assistance programme
  • Private medical insurance
  • Bonus scheme
  • Enhanced pension plan
  • Life assurance + Income protection policies
  • Annual salary reviews
  • Professional subscriptions paid + study leave
  • Management programme
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays

This is the ideal role for a Project Quantity Surveyor who enjoys autonomy, client interaction, and flexibility - without being tied to the office.
