The Project
A multi million residential development comprising over 300 apartments across several blocks, including a high rise tower - among the tallest in its borough. Constructed over an operational multi-storey car park, the project also includes commercial and retail units, along with enhancements to public spaces.

Role Overview
The Project Quantity Surveyor will support senior commercial management in overseeing all financial aspects of the development, ensuring cost control, procurement efficiency, and compliance with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procuring subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers within approved budgets

  • Conducting tender analysis and preparing recommendations

  • Managing contract administration and assessing claims

  • Finalising accounts with subcontractors and suppliers

  • Participating in design meetings to ensure cost-effective compliance

  • Taking on senior surveying responsibilities when required

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field

  • MRICS qualification (or currently working towards it)

  • Previous experience in commercial roles within construction

  • Strong knowledge of JCT & NEC contracts and standard measurement protocols

  • Familiarity with Building Regulations and relevant standards
